Just got back from a Hotel Review in Ipoh, Perak, am now off to Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan for my next hotel review stay-cation and Ramadhan Menu. And these time it's ANCASA RESIDENCES PORT DICKSON, NEGERI SEMBILAN.

I decided to go backpacking style with my son, and it's been sometime since last I traveled. When you are single, you tend to venture and travel all over. But it isn't going to stop me, at least my son's knowledge will be broaden these way as well especially when he is a special need child. Since it's only a night stay-cation, travel light is a must.

My travel starts from the KTMB BATU CAVES STATION, via the commuter, early in the morning. Knowing KTMB of having very untimely unschedule timing, I decided to go early and not rush my journey. If you are travelling from KTMB Batu Caves towards KTMB SEREMBAN, you do not need to transit. But if you are travelling from north towards KTMB Seremban, then you need to transit at KL SENTRAL. Once reaching KTMB SEREMBAN, I took a town taxi to the SEREMBAN TERMINAL ONE Bus Station, though I can just walk over but the walking route was not that safe since nobody was walking along with me. The town taxi was about RM5.00. If you wish to travel from the KTMB Seremban directly to PORT DICKSON (depending on destination) by local taxi services, rates is at RM50-60 per ride.

At the Seremban Terminal One Bus Station, there are several bus express service provider company that has scheduled trips to Port Dickson. Find any that suits you and your timing. I took SKS Bus Express. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Port Dickson Bus Station.

It was my son's first trip to Port Dickson, and the moment he saw the sea and beaches, on the way, he went very excited. Hahaha it's ramadhan my son, cannot play waterlah...

Once we arrived, Blogger Achik Huda pick us up from Port Dickson Bus Station. Proceeded to ANCASA RESIDENCES, PORT DICKSON to check-in, and here we are in our 3-bedroom apartment. My son was already going round doing his inspection of all that has doors...hahahaha. My apartment is shared with Blogger Achik Huda hahaha she had both bedroom to herself hahaha it was huge.

Since it's still early for 'buka puasa', with a gorgeous hot weather, we rested in. We had time to do any walkabout later.

Our Ramadhan 'buka puasa' was done in the same building, at the Block A lobby. I did a different entry for those, click here for more reading. After the dinner, we rested for the night and await for tomorrow. Hope to get a good weather for the next day walkabout.

I had a good rest, although with all the backpacking journey. To me it was good to be able to travel even locally, watch people around me, gain extra knowledge about the place and culture. While we have all these peacefully, we should value them with friends and family.

Since I am a single parent, most of my time, ups and down, my son is with me. Him being a special need child, the trip itself, doesn't just help me understand him as an individual, it has help me relax after so many years of struggles to improve him to be independent.

ANCASA RESIDENCES, PORT DICKSON is very suitable for friends and families, you have almost everything here. You will have lots of activity to do together, especially after Ramadhan the beach behind the Resort will be open as usual to public. You get to go to their Spa for a relaxing 1-2 hours of self indulgence. There is a gym if you wish to do your usual routine of stay fit for awhile. Jump into the swimming pool or take a short or long walks in their gardens.
