Legoland Malaysia Resort |
The invitation for a Media Coverage with Stay Cation from LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and Gaya Travel Magazine was a privilege. My journey started from TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) Bandar Tasik Selatan, departed at 10.20am and arrival at 2.30pm. The journey was smooth sailing with the constant viewing of the back of lorries hahaha... other than that it's a good ride with Causeway Link Bus Express. There is a bus service from Kuala Lumpur directly to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and you can get their schedule here Direct Bus Service.
If you are driving, exit at Senai, then follow the signboard to Iskandar Puteri. Will not be able to get lost as direction signboards are very clear and many. Upon arrival, was greeted by friendly local staffs. Noticed that parking is ample. Our check-in was fast, since it's Ramadhan, we were requested to choose our Sahur Menu as we check in. Isn't that easier? Everything before we go into our room.

LOBBY |
We then proceeded to our room (shared room with http://www.mieranadhirah.com/ and http://runawaybella.com/). The decor from the Lobby Until the lift was everything LEGO. Suddenly felt so small like a kid again. Ok, mood kicking in already, still in control. Once in the lift, haiseh the music went on and it's my kind and era, type of music. Mood termometer rising... hahahaha. You will need to use your room key to access the lift to your assigned room floor and also to your room. Just scan for the lift and room to enter.
Our room was on the Adventure Floor, and as we enter the room, door ajar, bags at the door, everyone started snapping photos... hahaha bloggers hahaha. I have seen so many photos of their rooms and was not able imagine clearly. It's a huge room, as you enter you will find the following, (for more photos, click here.
TOILET
As usual is always near the room door. You have the usual amenities, toiletries, towels, etc. You have 2 different sinks, a lower one for the kids. With LEGO motives on the wall, ours had spiders haha..

CLOTHS CUPBOARD
Beside the tea/coffee making facilities. Has bathrobe and room slippers for 2 adults and 2 children.
CHILDREN'S BED CORNER
Opposite of cupboard, a double decker (or it's triple decker with extra bed below). A Television facing the bed for the children's entertainment.

Ok every room has these, there is a huge safe deposit at the corner before you enter the main bedroom. In it are couple of prizes. The set of questions is on the table in the main bedroom. Answer the questions, use the numbers to enter your safe deposit. If you guest it right, you will be suprised of what you will win... these one, blogger Miera very fast attack hahaha...

KING SIZE BED MAIN ROOM |
The whole room was with adventure motives on the carpet, wall papers, comforters. If you think kids will have fun here, imagine the parents... hahaha also will join in. Since it's my first time there, I wanted to take some photos for my son, so me and blogger Miera decided to enter LEGOLAND Theme Park, (if you are going down, then you should be going to L2). Our other roomie, Blogger Bella, she decided to take a beauty rest. Since our Media Event - LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, only starts at 5.00pm, we decided to take a look around.
As you enter the Theme Park, you will find shops left and right. Mostly are shops selling LEGO'S, are a plenty. Here also you can view what The Brick, a Mini Market, The Cafe, and many more is offering. If you are tired and need to just sit down for a short while, maybe waiting for the kids to finish their auwws and oohss, there are long benches in the between the left and right shops (and they are shaded). You can explore interactively what is in the Theme Park here.
Since it's only 2 hours to Event time, I was trying to get as much photos of the attractions as possible. So I went click click click snap snap snap hahaha..it's not always you get to come here and you won't know when is the next trip. Manage to take a few but didn't have enough time to go to the rest of the Theme Park. You need more hours and days to do this.
As soon as the Media Event - LEGO NINJAGO was over, I was already rushing back to the hotel room to freshen up for Ramadhan Break Fast at the Brick's Family Restaurant. Brick's is able to seat 420 pax per time. We taken up a table right beside the Buffet Line and food hunt begins... hahaha.. They had variety of buffet menu to choose from. I went crazy when they brought out the fresh salmon and smoked duck. Among all the dishes that was my favourite. They had varieties of fruits, waffles corner, ice cream, desserts, soups, local and international dishes.
What brought to my attention was the table setting. Normally tables are covered with table cloth but here it's with a piece of white paper with drawings on it. How so imaginative is that? I mean the kids would be doing so much colouring on it. I wish my son could have been there then, being autistic, he would have love it.
After taking in so much smoked duck (if the chef was saying smoked duck was out several times that night, hahaha we were the actual culprit that kept finishing it up... hahahaha me and Miera). We then took a short walk. We went down to L2 again and walk over to the Mall beside the hotel, opposite of the Theme Park. I found KFC, Chicken Rice Shop, Burger King and mini marts as well. Prices at the mini marts vary than those outside. After purchasing tit bits, we went back to the hotel for a good night rest.(yeay like resting lah.. when you have 3 bloggers in a room hahaha what else chatlah)
Although I was not able to complete the walkabout of the whole Theme Park, I do hope I get a chance the next time round but with my son. LEGO's Brick has always been a part of his education syllabus. Being autistic, they learn to focus by building items with LEGO's brick or those similar ones. The colours helps them see things differently. It helps with their focus, ideas, movement, touch of the fingers. Items such as this, does assist us parents on daily basis, helping our kids to developed their imagination.
When LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort said its a family entertainment holiday destination. It is actually. It is not just suitable for children, it is also for adult, family, friends to actually enjoy good quality time together. LEGOLAND has made sure every bits and pieces has an important role in securing it to education and teamwork. One portion of the park is education and the other part is how it works as an entertainment. Thank you LEGOLAND for always coming out with new innovative ideas. Thumbs up.
Thank you to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and Gaya Travel Magazine for these opportunity. If you need information on LEGOLAND, please click link below respectively. Gaya Travel Magazine is also open for subscription of their magazine. Information is on their website as well.
