I have many times experience on last minute occasion, I need a place to stay when on outstation trips especially at Budget Hotels. Regardless what the trip is for actually. And many a times, I get those that look good but by the time we get into the room... hmmmm it's a bit different then what was told. And at times you can't get a refund, nor change room for some reasons, or other places are all filled up. I can understand, when you say budget but budget doesn't mean that the quality should be compromised. Some of us travellers, just need a place to sleep in, a good shower and easy access to transport and etc. But at times, we pay RM45.00 and above per night, we get very disappointed with what is provided. Shabby and run down, smells, bed bugs, shower is without hot water, toilet is not clean, and many others.
