The Kuala
Lumpur Convention Centre’s (the Centre) award-winning culinary team has
refreshed its menu for its stunning Parkview Deck Café. Guests can now dine on
these tasty treats whilst enjoying the spectacular views of the KLCC Park and iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers.

In addition to the Japanese Clam Pasta (pictured above),
pasta lovers can also try the Salted Egg Yolk Carbonara - Al dente
spaghetti cooked with salted egg yolk and fresh seafood, or the Chicken
Fettuccini Alfredo- Italian flat pasta cooked with unsalted butter,
grated nutmeg and cream. If fresh hand-made sandwiches and bagels are your
preference, the BSS - Grilled ciabatta with streaky beef strips, scrambled
eggs, Swiss cheese,roasted vine tomatoes and a tomato chutney, or the Smoked
Salmon Bagel - Home-made bagel with smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions,
capers, and herb & garlic cream cheese, are the perfect choice.

Elaborating on the menu, the Centre’s Executive Chef, Hisham Bin Jaafar,
shared, “All-day breakfast options are now available, including the Protein
Breakfast - Four scrambled eggs, served with smoked chicken loaf,
grilled tomatoes and toast, which is a great meal for those needing that
protein hit post-work out in the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) park. Guests
looking for a more local breakfast can try our Prata& Tarik - Traditional
Indian flat bread, served with dhall, fish curry and a choice of tehtarik or
kopi tarik, which will definitely satisfy that craving.”
He continued, “The menu revamp is part of our effort to keep our culinary
offerings fresh and exciting for both returning guests and those coming for the
first time. Our team is continuously creating new dishes and we are excited to
share these tasty creations with Parkview Deck Café
guests.”

Parkview Deck Café is located on Level One
of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and is open
from 8.00am – 7.00pm, Monday to Friday. The café is the perfect place to take a
break and have a coffee, or enjoy some sumptuous local and international
cuisine, while taking in the spectacular view of the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City
Centre) Park and iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the
Centre) is a component of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). The Centre is
owned by Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre SdnBhd (“Owner”) and managed and operated
by Convex Malaysia SdnBhd (“Manager”), a joint-venture company between KLCC
(Holdings) SdnBhd and AEG Ogden.
A winner of numerous awards, this
world-class facility is wholly-owned by Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre SdnBhd
which in turn, is owned by KLCC (Holdings) SdnBhd, a subsidiary of Petroliam
NasionalBerhad (PETRONAS).
The Centre is an AIPC (International
Association of Congress Centres) Gold Standard venue and is ISO 9001, ISO
22000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, EarthCheck Bronze (11 consecutive years) and
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certified. The venue also
actively participates in AEG 1EARTH, AEG’s industry-leading corporate
sustainability programme to reduce environmental impact and drive business
value.
Comprising two auditoria (seating close to
3,000 and 500 respectively), 12,310 sqm of Exhibition Halls including a 2,600
sqm standalone marquee, a Grand Ballroom which seats 2,000 diners, a Banquet
Hall for 500, a Conference Hall for 1,800 and 23 other meeting rooms, the
Centre provides 22,659 sqm of function space in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
With its expansion underway
and due for completion in July 2019, the Centre will add an additional 11,000 sqm of
flexible and multi-purpose space that enables the venue to comfortably
accommodate larger exhibitions and international association meetings, as well
as concurrent events.
