80 orphans and underprivileged children treated to Breaking Fast Feast with #DuitRaya |
About eighty orphans and underprivileged children from two homes were treated to a scrumptious Break Fast feast at the hotel.
Prior to being feted with the dinner, the children, from Pusat Jagaan Kasih Ilahi in Rawang and Rumah Penyayang Darul Ilmi in Gombak were treated to Mini Games and a Special showcase of World Magic Extravaganza performances.
Featuring over 100 international magicians, the event was a compilation of best magic tricks from world-renowned master magicians, including Albert Tan from Hong Kong, Liao Xiao Run from China, Mamada from Thailand, Takumi Takahashi from Japan as well as Steven Im from Malaysia.
“We believe their performance inspired not just the contestants, but also the children whom potentially become one of them in the future,“ said General Manager, Jack Lim.
Later in the evening, the children was presented with #DuitRaya and a chance to meet Dato’ Indera Naresh Mohan who was the guest-of-honour at the event.
“Giving back to the community and bringing cheer to the underprivileged as much as we can is our duty as a hotelier, and in fact, it is a joy,” said Dato Indera Naresh
“It is really satisfying to see the happy faces of children,” adding that he was also delighted to see the all the children mingled as they enjoyed the buffet spread.
“With that in mind, we are committed to deliver CSR initiatives and contribute back to the society throughout the year,” said Dato confidently.
